Texas Sales Tax Exemption Requirements:

  • You must provide a completed Texas Sales and Use Tax Exemption Certification (Texas Comptroller Form 01-339).
  • The exemption certificate must be on file with Escape Room BCS before the event can be booked.
  • Pursuant to Texas Tax Code §151.310, payment must be made directly by the exempt organization. Payment from an individual, even on behalf of an exempt entity, does not qualify for exemption.
  • This event must be an official function organized and funded exclusively by the exempt entity.

This inquiry does not reserve the requested time. Your time is reserved when you receive email confirmation after payment. A preliminary headcount is needed at least 3 days before the event. Groups may add people without penalty; refunds are subject to our normal cancellation policy.

Terms & Conditions
  1. Release Waiver. Every participant must execute a Release Waiver prior to entering any escape room. A parent or legal guardian must sign on behalf of any minor under age 18.
  2. Paid Participants Only. Only paid guests are permitted inside the escape rooms. Non-playing observers are not allowed in the rooms.
  3. Age Requirements. Participants in Classified and Breakout must be at least 10 years old. All other rooms require participants to be at least 12 years old. Each room must include at least one paid adult (age 18+). Infants and small children are not permitted in any escape room.
  4. Minimum Players. Private events require a minimum of 10 participants. Individual rooms may have their own minimum player requirements—please verify the minimum for your selected room(s) before booking.
  5. Punctual Arrival. All rooms begin promptly at their scheduled time. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow time for check-in, waivers, and restroom breaks. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated with a reschedule or refund.
  6. Cancellations & Changes. Full refunds or changes are available with at least 24 hours’ advance notice. With fewer than 24 hours’ notice, no refunds, credits, or rescheduling can be provided. No-shows are non-refundable and non-reschedulable.
  7. Photography & Recording. By entering our facility, you consent to photography, video, and audio recording by Escape Room BCS for promotional and operational purposes. Details are provided in the Release Waiver.
  8. Health Advisory. Escape rooms involve confined spaces, dim lighting, fog/haze effects, and strobe lighting (Asylum room). Participation is not recommended for persons who are pregnant, have heart conditions, claustrophobia, epilepsy, or photosensitivity. Participants assume all risk associated with these conditions.
  9. Property & Facility. Participants are responsible for any intentional damage to room props, equipment, or facility. Force is never required to solve any puzzle. Please handle all items with care.
  10. Right to Refuse Entry. Escape Room BCS reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any participant who appears intoxicated, disruptive, or poses a safety risk to themselves or others. No refund will be issued in such cases.
  11. Accessibility. Ground-floor rooms are ADA/TAS accessible. The Asylum is located on the second floor and is accessible only by stairs. Guests with mobility impairments are welcome in all ground-floor rooms.
